I have just been walking the dog and he came charging into me and knocked me over. I landed on the front of my leg and an area about 3 inches by 3 inches has become really swollen and hurts to walk. Shall I just put some ice on it and lift my leg up?
Hi,Welcome to healthcare magic. After going through your query I think your You are suffering from post traumatic muscular pain. Treatment of it is rest and analgesics (diclofenac three times a day after meals). It may take a week time to relief Ice fomentation over it and keeping your leg up on pillow will be of help.Sometimes strong analgesic(such as ultracet three times a day after meals) is required. You can discuss with your treating Doctor. However you can get his chest x ray done to exclude fracture.I think your query answered.Welcome to any follow up query
