Should Infants Maintain Distance From Patients Recovering From Diarrhea?

My aunty is having loose motion and admitted to hospital for 4 days. Doctor said it is due to food poison, and it is cured now she can get discharge from hospital. She stays at my home, I have 1 year old child, is it advised to avoid her interactions with my child for few days ?

* There is no harm of interaction with child , if both sides hygiene is
practised for hand washing after use of washrooms , before eating or
drinking anything .

Hope this clears your doubt .
