Should One Be Concerned About Ringing In The Ear After A Concert?

Hello, I am lars, 16 years old and I'm suffering from a high beep tone, which is the loudest in my right ear. It happened after going to a music festival with fairly loud music, happened on the first day, the 3 days after I wore my earplugs all the time, but it's been half a week now and it's still not over, should I be concerned?

Hello,

A ringing/hissing/Buzzing sound in the ears may be possible in noise induced hearing Loss.

Other possibilities of tinnitus are Eustachian tube block, pharyngitis, temporo-mandibular joint dysfunction, drug induced, age related or tumor compression et cetera.

Please consult your ENT specialist he will examine through pure tone audiometry and tympanometry and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
