Should The ER Be Visited For Frequent Bowel Movement Along With Mucus In Stool?

For three months everything goes right through him. A Local Dr has got an appointment for this coming Monday. He says a lot of the time is stool is just mucus. I’m just wondering if I need to just take him on to the ER cause he’s been really weak today and he’s feet has a tingling sometimes now
