Should The ER Be Visited For Pain In The Shoulder?

I think I have the answer. I have a dull pain in my left shoulder almost to the left of my collar bone. It comes and goes over the last two days. I am 79 and take asprin, crestor and limator. It is not that painful but it does hurt and I keep rubbing the area. Should I go to an emergenncy room . it is now 10 PM. I was going to wait to tomorrow morning. I think I am in good health generally.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It might be a simple musculoskeletal pain.
As a first line of management you can take, analgesics like Tramdol for pain relief.
You can consult an orthopaedician if pain persists.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
