Should The ER Be Visited For Palpitations And Fever?

I had 2 sudden bowel movements last Saturday evening that emptied my bowel tract. I thought I had food poisoning because I learned my friend hadn t kept cooked chicken properly. On Sunday I felt worse and developed a fever of 100. My stools are very loose, but not watery. I am feeling better but still I need to use the toilet nearly every hour during the day, with only bits of stool each time. My headache is receding, but tonight I have a fever of 99.9. I also feel my heartbeat more than usual. I am on a very limited BRAT diet.I am 78. Should I try to see my doctor tomorrow?

Hi,

You may be suffering from food poisoning. Drink plenty of water, use tablet Paracetamol, tablet Sporlac, tablet Ofloxacin and Ornidazole. If your symptoms not improved or developed allergy to above drug, you have to consult your doctor immediately, he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
