Should The PCP Be Consulted For Pain Around The Temple And Scalp?

I am beginning to recover from what felt like the flu, however I had the shot this year. Today my muscle pain and temp are decreased. However I am still having stabbing pain in and arround my right temple. My scalp is super sensitive. The scalp is constant and the head pain comes in short waves, they make me jump.
Should I go ahead and see my pcp at this stage of the game?

Hi,

It might be due to nonspecific body pain related to flu and will settle by itself.

As of now, you can take analgesics like Acetaminophen for symptomatic relief.

If symptoms persist, you can consult a physician and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
