Should The Zithromax Course Be Completed?

Hi I ve been prescribed Zithromax for an inflammed throat 500 mg x 3 tablets which is the whole course. I ve taken 1 but I have in the past had very bad reactions to antibiotics affecting my stomach & am traveling in 3 days time. Should I complete the course? Is zythromax for an inflammed throat or do I rather take regular cough syrup etc?

In reference to your query for Zithromax antibiotic which had been prescribed by your doctor for your throat infection. This is Azthromycin and it's recmonded dose is 500 mg daily for three days (Adult dose ). You have taken only one and try to avoid to take rest two tablets for abdominal side effect. Here I would like to say that please continue it and you may add some probiotic to protect from abdominal side effect.
