Should The Swelling In The Bridge Cartilage Of Nose Be Treated?

Hi,
I suffer from annual maxilliary sinus problems (usually in the autumn) which often result in chronic pain foor several weeks. I currently have (for 3 days now) a swelling of the cartilidge of the bridge of my nose (on the same side as I experience maxilliary sinus problems). It's more sore than painful. As a side note, I cannot usually inhale clearly through my nose but since this new symptom has become evident I have had pretty good breathing through the side of my nose with the swelling. I have read about this online and it seems that there are many possible causes and I am confused.

I am off on holiday for 8 days tomorrow. Should I seek treatment, or should I just watch for certain 'signs'?

Thanks
