Should The Vaginal Opening Having A Septate Hymen Be Larger In Size ?
In a normal vagina, the hymen surrounds the vagina and theres a hole in the hymen due to which the opening appears small.... In a vagina with a sepatate hymen, the hymen is in the centre right?that means there is no hymen surrounding the vagina ? so .isnt the opening with a septate hymen is supossed to be a bit huge than the normal opening?
Hi,Kristi,
Thanks for query,
Hymen is below in the vaginal opening. It is crescent type shape and vaginal opening is on upper side from which bleeding of period comes.
Urethral opening is very small and remains closed during normal position, This opening is on the top from that point two labia start.
Ok and bye.

Hello,
Thanks for your query.
No it need not be big.
Hymen is little deep in vagina and septum divides it into two parts.
It presents asymptomatically.
Hope I have answered your query.
I will be available for your follow up queries if any.
Wishing you good health.
Regards,
