Skin Darkening. Wants To Use Melacare Forte Cream. Side Effects Of Medication?

hi doctor. i am thinking to use melacare forte cream so before i go for it i wanna know your suggestion and views of melacare forte cream. i heard from some of my friends that melacare forte cream just take out a layer of skin by which its look fairer n while we stop using it our faces becomes dark then ever before ..... thanks a lot .....

hi ,melacare forte cream can be used for skin hyperpigmentation but it should be used with caution.it should be applied strictly at night and it should be applied with moisteriser every time.sometimes there will be pimples over face while treating with it due to mometasone contect in melacare forte,and sometimes more darkness occurs due to ochronosis due to hydroquinone content.hence safest treatment for skin darkening is niltan ointment which is steriod free in the night and godsent tablets daily once for 3-6 months .if still no response go for chemical peels like glycolic acid or mandelic acid
