Skin Tone Has Changed To Dark, Especially In The Regions Exposed To Sun. How To Treat This?

My skin tone was fair when i was a child but until I grew up to a teen my skin colour & face colour became very dark. In childhood my skin color was of cream colour & now its become dark brown. It is more brown specially in the exposed areas like face, hands, neck. I don't want to be of this color forever, is there a way to get back fair.

hi. Seems that it could be because of tanning due to sun exposure. You should use a broad spectrum sunscreen on the exposed areas like face, hands and arms everyday before stepping out into the sun.

At night you can use one of the demelanising creams with constituents like glycolic acid, kojic acid, arbutin. Their are many available.

I would advice that you get them prescribed by a dermatologist.

take care
