Slightly Green Discharge, Pain In Lower Abdomen. Had Unprotected Sex For The First Time Followed By Bleeding. Infection?
hi i had sex or the first time a week ago and the morning after the intercourse i saw a gp because i would not stop bleeding she said it was normal and i didn't worry. however now its been 6 days and i realised that although i did not try having sex again there was some yello very slightly green liquid coming out of the vagina and at times i still feel some brif like pin pains in the low abdominal aria. i have no fever i am 36 years old and because we are planning a family we used no condoms. ps although the hymen was broken i was in pain so penetration did not go through. sould i go and see my gp again my worry is that maybe i got an infection?
Hello. Thanks for writing to us. The greenish discharge that you have could be due to a vaginal infection if it is associated with a foul smell. A direct examination is needed for proper diagnosis.
