Small Bony Lump On Right Tibia Just Below Knee, Shin/knee Pain While Running. Is It Cancer ?
Hello, I am a 20 year old female. I have a small bony lump on my right tibia just below my knee. It doesn t hurt, even when bumped or rubbed. Sometime I have shin/ knee pain when running. No history of cancer . I just noticed it a week ago for the first time. No noticeable growth in the past week. It is visible and palpable.
Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The bump that you have noticed below your knee is likely to be due to cyst- synovial or Baker's cyst or a subcutaneous swelling like lipoma or a sebaceous cyst. A direct examination of the area is needed for proper diagnosis.
