Small Bump Formed After Hitting Hard Behind Ear. What Symptoms Will Indicate It As Serious Injury?
Hello,
My son hit the back of his head right behind the ear and noticed a small bump after about 10 minutes. He was calm and he was playful and fell asleep fine at night. What symptoms should i be looking for, for it to be considered a serious injury? My son did not complain too much of the injury and took the fall pretty well.

Hi, do not worry and from history the injury seems t o be trivial. Please look for any drowsiness, unconsciousness, vomiting, bleeding from ear or increase in swelling and in case any or more of these symptoms appear, please go to ER.
