Small Bump On Shaft Of Penis Below The Glans, Frequent Urge To Urinate, Little Dribbling In The Underwear, Weaker Stream Of Urine. No Pain Or Blood. Related Problems?
Hi Doctor,
I am a 32 year old white male, no medical problems. I have a couple issues not sure if they are related but they both appeared recently. A couple weeks ago, I felt a small bump on the shaft of my penis that I had never felt before. It's about an inch or so below the glans and about an inch or so to the left of the urethra It is pretty small, maybe the size of a grain of rice and hard. It does not hurt. It is not movable and seems attached to whatever the tissue is under the skin (erectile tissue?). It does not appear as a bump if you were looking at my penis. You could only feel it
The 2nd issue just cropped 3-4 days ago. At work one day I noticed I was having to urinate more often than normal (In general I already urinate more often than someone typical of my age. Usually have to get up 1-2 times at night but this has been going on for years). Between Thursday and Friday I had to go at least 20 or so times. Fewer times today but it is not just increased frequency. Right after going I often still have the slight urge to go and I get some dribbling in my underwear. It hasn't been painful. The urine is not dark and there is no appearance of blood. At first the stream was normal but in the last day or so it's been a bit weaker.
What could these problems be and do you think they could be related?
Please do not evaluate problem on day to day basis and ideally to make a correct diagnosis on the bump of the penis you need to be examined by a Urologist and Andrologist for a firm diagnosis.
Regarding your urinary problems please get your routine urine analysis done to rule out the UTI. However if the symptoms persists you need to come to the clinic for consultations after taking a prior appointment.
Best regards
