Small Bumps On Body. Itchy, Had Diarrhea. Suggestions?

I have had skin issues for over two weeks. It appeared that something may have bitten me originally. Now I feel as if something is inside of me causing me to itch and get bumps in various places on my body. The bumps are very small but extremely itchy. They usually just are singular but may have a line of them spaced out . I have experienced some diarrhea and stomach issues but I do not know if it is related. I have also experienced cold like symptoms. My granddaughter and I were sleeping in the same bed and she has some of the same symptoms. Is this a sign of a certain type of bug. I have searched her room but have not seen any bugs

I have gone through the information provided by you. As you have mentioned that you shared bed with your grand daughter who had these itchy bumps .These small itchy bumps may be due scabies which is a contagious infestation by mites. In scabies itching is more during the night and specifically present in body folds. If these features are present in your case then you may take treatment for scabies.

Other possibilities may be :
viral exanthemas, fungal infection, or allergic reaction to medication, foods, soaps, detergents, topical preparations, plants, or clothing.
