Small Bumps Present On Top Of Foot. The Area Is Itchy, Dry And Red In Colour From Scratching. Treatment?

Hello I have several small bumps on the top of my right foot. I am a 27 year old female and I have been wearing flip flops and flats a lot lately. The area is itchy and dry and consists of about 12 tiny slightly raised bumps which has reddened from scratching. I am a little worried because it has not gone away after moisturizing for a week and a half. Please help!

Hi,

You can apply some topical cream containing antibiotic (gentamycin) and hydrocortizone to relieve the symptoms for up to 3 or 5 days, twice daily.

If no results, you can perform a lab test called microscopical examination of skin for fungal infection.

In addition, take good care of your feet, wash and dry them adequately.

Hope it helped!
