Small Child, Bruise On Spine, Near Tailbone, Cries When Falling Asleep. Causes?
Hello, my 3 year old has a tiny bruise that is on lumbar area of her spine , very close to where tail bone is about to begin, I have seen it in other ocassions but it fades away. I am concerned. Sometimes she cries a lot when she falls asleep and turns and kicks her legs (seems to me in pain) I do not know whether it is night terrors or if it is related to the bruise.

It is important to know how she got that bruise. Consult an orthopedic surgeon soon and get her evaluated with an xray and may be a neurologist consult is required.
