Hi,
Thank you for your query.
If she persists to cough so badly after the medications you need to do a chest X ray of the chest and sinuses.
Medications cannot be suggested without clinically examining such a small baby.
But apply medicated nasal drops to see whether the cough decreases or not.
I would still advice you to see a pediatrician.
Hope this answers your query. If you have any other queries kindly direct them to me.Wishing your child a speedy recovery.Have a nice day.

Hi,
Thanks for your query.
Your baby is having cold and cough which is mostly viral in origin.
Small children cannot expectorate and it takes time for their balgam to resolve .
I suggest you to give her plenty of warm fluids, continue with saline nebulisation 2 to 3 times a day.
In case symptoms do not subside take her to pediatrician.
Your daughter will be fine.
God bless.

Pediatrician Dr. E Venkata Ramana's  Response
Hi,
Thank you for your query,
As your child is having cold and cough, oral antihistamine for cold and mucolytic drops are required for cough.
Nebulization is required when there is associated broncho spam and your Pediatrician will tell you the neccessity of it depending on the examination of chest.
Infants can not spit the sputum so they may swallow or vomit so nothing to worry.
Consult your Pediatrician for examination of your child and to prescribe the appropriate medication.
Hope i have answered your query.
