Hi

You have not mentioned about the age of your daughter.

Good that fever and vomiting are in control now.
How are the stools? Are they watery? Is there any blood in stools or is it green and associated with mucus?

Most of the loose stools are due to virus and there are no specific and safe medicines to stop it abruptly. You have to take care to prevent dehydration.
Give her plenty of water, vegetable soups, rice based food/porridge, banana, ORS etc. Avoid giving her juices for few days. Curd is very good during diarrheal episodes as it has natural probiotic bacteria.
You may also give her probiotic sachets like Econorm/ Bifilac etc that help in reducing the frequency and duration of loose stools in viral diarrhea.
In viral diarrhea, you need not give her any other medications. She will get okay in about 3 to 4 days. Just be sure her intake, especially fluids is okay and she passes urine atleast 4 to 5 times in a day.

How ever if stools are not watery but pasty or semisolid, if green or mixed with blood, its likely to be due to bacterial infection. In such a case, she might need antibiotics.

You may speak to your doctor again and ask her if your daughter needs some antibiotics too!
Hope my answer helps you.
Wish a speedy recovery for your kid.
