Small Child Having Cold, Cough, Chest Congestion. Prescribed T Minic, Asthalin Syrup. Safe To Use?

my son of 4 and a half month old is suffering from cold , cough and chest congestion for the last one week. Doc. prescribed him T minic syrup 3.5 ml for 3 times a day , nasoclear drop, one drop for four times, Asthalin syrup, 2 ml for 3 times a day. This dosages are for five days. Is it ok to use Asthalin syrup for paed.

It seems your son is suffering from Respiratory tract infection, commonly causes by viruses.

I suspect your doctor may have felt need for using Asthalin during clinical examination. It is usually given in patients having wheezing to relieve difficulty in breathing.

Wheezing is sometimes found in patients having cough/cold and in that situation, it can be tried.

In summary, if needed, Asthalin syrup can be used in Paed
