Small Child, Quick Pulse, Chest Pain On Applying Pressure. Treatment?
My son is 7 years old. He has been complaining of his heart beating fast for about a month, off and on. Last night he was playing and saying OW every once in a while and when we asked him what was wrong he said if he put any pressure in his chest area that it hurt his heart. I have an appt for him with his doctor at 4:00 today but I don t want to freak myself out all day...what are we looking at as far as potential issues?

first of all get a complete blood count. it will more valuable.it seems there is costochondritis
it will be safe if you perform a ecg for your child
