A friend had a small cyst removed on his lower lip (outside) over a week ago, and it still has not healed...continues to bleed at night (friction?), sometimes forms a crust but if disturbed it bleeds quite a lot. His dermatologist is not available, his family doctor does not want to interfere. The histology is unknown since the dermatologist is not available for another 9 days.
Hi.bleeding is present even after cyst removal indicates either the cyst has not removed completely or there is a recurrence.so for any tissue embedded inside if so remove it.if there is recurrence go for repeation of surgery or electrocautery.prior to all these use a broad spectrum antibiotic .saline compressors and application of t-bact ointment can cure it
