Small Little Veins Showing Up In Leg, Progressing Towards Back Of Leg. History Of Sciatic Nerve Damage From Ruptured Disc L5-S1, Discectomy. Related?
Hi, I have permanent sciatic nerve damage from a ruptured disc L5-S1. I underwent a discectomy in 2001. A few months ago, I noticed small little veins showing up on the front of my left leg and now they are showing up more and towards the back. I am wondering if they might be related to the nerve damage? Sorry, did not know that I had to pay for this service so thanks anyway. Have a good day.

Based on the description, I suspect that you have developed VARICOSE veins in your legs. These varicose veins are no way related to the nerve damage.
I suggest you to consult a general surgeon for further advice and management of the varicosities.
