Small, Painful Red To White Bumps Near Urethra. On Penicillin For UTI. History Of MRSA. Guide

My friend has small red to white tip bumps near her urethra that hurt a lot.She started with one bump 5 days ago, two yesterday, and five today. She is currently being treated with Penicillin VK for a urinary tract infection and ?strep throat (although the strep culture was negative). She has a history of MRSA . How concerning is this and what is the likeliness that it is Strep in this area. STD's have been ruled out.

IT IS VERY UNLIKELY THAT YOU WILL GET MRSA IN THAT REGION, USUALLY MRSA CAUSES SYSTEMIC INFECTIONS WITH SOME SUBCUTANEOUS INFECTONS LIKE CARBUNCLE OR FURUNCLE.

IF YOU DONT GET ANY CURE OF SYMPTOMS WITH PENICILLINS THEN I RECOMMEND YOU TO CHANGE THE ANTIBIOTICS LIKE
A. CHANGING GROUPS OF DRUGS - WHICH TARGETS GRAM NEGATIVE ORGANISMS LIKE CIPROFLOXACIN, OFLAXACIN OR MOXIFLOXACIN.
B. ADDING AN EXTENDED SPECTRUM PENICILLINS TO THE CURRENT PLANS LIKE AMOXICILLIN WITH CLAVULUNATE POTASSIUM WHICH WILL ACT FOR A LONG TIME
C. SOME TIMES USE OF TOPICAL ANTIBIOTIC PREPARATIONS SUCH AS NADIFLOXACIN WILL HELP UPTO CERTAIN EXTENT.
