Small Red Dot On Left Eye Around White Part, Red , Blurry Eyes. Pain While Putting On Contact Lenses. Suggest
Hi, I have a small circular type red dot on the left eye around the rightish corner on the white part, and my eyes are a bit red and look a little blurry like if I looked in the mirror but not blurry as in sight. My right eye is perfectly fine though and I tried putting in my contact in the left eye and it hurt so I took them off, also I rinsed my eye with an eye rinse (basch and laomb) Hopefully it will help but I want to know what this is and if I shoud use visine and eye rinse and how its caused. How long will this stay? 1 day?
Hi Friend I am Dr Bilal and I am an Ophthalmologist Welcome to Health Care Magic and thanks for writing to us . I would like to answer your question and your satisfaction is my goal .
From the history given by you , it seems as if you are suffering from conjunctivitis as there is redness and blurring of vision, and this could be related to your contact lens use . I would suggest you to visit eye doctor as you may require antibiotic eye drops / ointment . Rinsing your eyes with eye rinse (basch and laomb) is fine . Meanwhile , do not wear your contact lenses (use glasses instead) , use sun glasses while moving out in bright light . You may also take pain killer tablet like Ibuprofen in case of pain . I hope that you will find my answer helpful .
Wish you good luck and a very speedy recovery . Best regards .
