My urine smells when I pee, and its been going on for a few days now. Maybe three or four now. It does not burn horribly, but its there a little. Nothing like i have come across with UTI s before. I was wondering if it was a UTI in the early stages or if it was something else. The only thing different that i did for a few days was take a vitamin called Lysine . Could have had had something to do with it.
Hello Thanks for your query, based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have UTI .It is certain that it is not due to consuming Lysine.
Please get your routine urine test and urine culture done to find out the organisms causing this infection and antibiotics to which they are sensitive to.
Please take broad spectrum antibiotics like Cefotaxime along with urinary antiseptic like Nitrofurantoin twice daily and urine alkaliser thrice daily.and later on switch on to appropriate antibiotics as per culture report.
Get the prescription of medicines from your family Physician.
Ensure to drink more water. To keep your urine dilute This will help to control dysuria.
