Soft, Tender Spot On Forehead, No Bruises, Painful. Taken Ibuprofen. Suggestion?

Hi, I have a very soft spot, bruise like tenderness on my forehead above my left eye, closer to my hair line but no bruise is visible. I have had sinus pressure/pain above my eyes and below my eyes before, and this tenderness is not similar to the sinus pain I've had in the past. Very tender and painful when I lightly touch it, and still mildly painful when left untouched. I took 400mg of Ibuprofen about an hour ago, does not seem to help the tenderness.

Hi and welcome to HCM. Thank you for your querry.
Well it seems like skin subcutaneous lesion and i dont htink this is related to your sinuses or eyes. It ca cause headache but only because there is an inflammatory reaction. So most common cases are foliculitis, bacterial abscess o rinsect bite. In these cases brufen wont be helpful. You might need antibiotic treatment but your gP should take a look of it. Wish you good health.
