Something Pops Out Near Top Of Neck While Swallowing. What Could It Be?
When I turn my head and swallow something pops out on the left near the top of my neck. I can push it back in or turn my head to the left and it pops back in. There is no pain no swelling no visible lump. Its causing me a lot of anxiety. I have a Dr appointment next month. What do you think it could be?
Hi, most likely the popped out thing is a lymph node which are normally present in the neck. These enlarge in size due to various reasons with infection in the ear nose throat region being the most common cause. Please get an ENT examination, if your ENT decides, you may need to undergo an FNAC. Regards
