Sore Bump On The Elbow. Difficulty In Extending The Arm. Could This Be Due To Over Stretching?

I am a pitcher in college. I have a bump on the outside of my elbow that feels like a fat lump. It is sore and causing elbow pain. I am also having problems extending my arm, it is tight. My trainer says nothing seems torn and I need to work thru it. He put me thru different exercises and stretches. What could be causing this?

hello,I have got your question.the bump you are telling about seems to be likely cyst/tumour.but whatever it is,it can press on your nerve in elbow and may cause neural pain.also it can cause restriction of movement in elbow joint.is it getting larger in size day by day? but don't underestimate this.please go to a doctor.he will perhaps tell you for imaging for better visualisation.but before doing exercises please consult with your doctor.thank you.
