Hi!!!Its a mild upper
respiratory tract infection along with
gastritis.I would suggest you to go for saline luke warm water gargle as number of times you can in a day and make sure that you do it before bedtime. Salt acts as a mild antiseptic, and also draws water out of mucous membranes in the throat, which helps to clear phlegm. Dissolve a half-teaspoon salt in a glass of warm water, gargle and spit out. Repeat up to four times a day.
Alternatively, gargle with a baking-soda solution. Dissolve one-half teaspoon of baking soda in a glass of warm water. The gargle should be quite relieving, but even if it doesn't subside than an antibiotic coverage is suggested as for example Tab
Azithromycin 500mgs,once dialy for 3 days and Tab.
Paracetamol 500mgs if you really can't tolerate the headache.
Take
vitamin C three times a day. Whether your
sore throat is caused by a cold, the flu or strep, this vitamin will help boost your immune system and fight off infection. Reduce the dose if you develop diarrhea. Hot lemonade with honey can also relieve pain. Combine the juice of half a lemon with hot water.
Drink lots of water, avoid cold stuffs till you are away with your sore throat.Don't take spicy food to avoid gastric upset.Include Tab
Ranitidine, half an hour before food, twice dialy for a weekThis should do away your symptoms.
