Spreading Bruises And Swelling In Knuckle Due To Fall Of Lid, To Fingers And Back Of Hand, Cracking Noise When Bent. Broken Knuckle?
My mother had a washing basket lid fall on her knuckle which has a wooden frame. Initially she had bruising and swelling to the knuckle, but this has now spread to her other fingers and over the back of her hand. She can bend her knuckle but it makes a creaking noise when she does it. I do have a picture of this if it helps. Is it likely to be broken?
