Stomach Becomes Rock Hard After Drinking A Glass Of Water. Reason?
im 45 . suffers from stomic probles. drink 8 0z water. or eat two bits of foods.soup or soilds it does not change out come. been tested gluten, virs, scop down thoat and up the other end. gave up wheat and white flour sugar. did help with yeast in body. still stomis gets hard as a rock when I take cople bits or a glass of water.
Neither gastroscopy or colonoscopy can not tell anything about small bowel condition. Such symptoms can be caused by partial bowels obstruction. It is more possible if you have had any abdominal surgery. Chronic intestinal infection, pancreas inflammation should be also ruled out. I suggest you to have abdominal CT with oral contrast (enteroclysis), stool culture test, pancreas test. If all test will be negative, your diagnose may be IBS. In such case, you should try Mebeverine treatment.
Hope this will help. Regards.
