Stomach Burning, Chestpain During Pregnancy. Getting Contractions. Not Making Dilation. Reason?
I am 38 weeks and i have been haveing all over burning in mg belly it feels like its on fire. Also chest pain and getting sick just in the last couple days. I have been to the hospital with contractions about 4 min apart but theg are not making me dialate at all i have been 1cm for about 3 weeks. What could all this be?
Is this your first pregnancy? If so, yes, it takes time for dilatation to progress. There is no need to worry about it. Your obstetrician will monitor how the baby's head will begin to descend and convey you the same. Contractions begin to cause pain towards the end of pregnancy. They may or may not be true labor pains. Please keep check over baby movements, any vaginal discharge or bleed.
Regarding your burning pain, I feel it is mostly resulting from heartburn, acid reflux due to pressure on and displacement of stomach. You need an antacid preparation and Ranitidine also.
These are the preparatory phases for delivery and please visit your obstetrician at the earliest.
