Stomach Feels Bloated. Urine Test Normal. Done X Ray. What Is Wrong?

I have a 13 yr old jdaughter that has been complaining of a stomach issue since Monday. She said that her stomach fills gushy and bloated. Yesterday she said it was making a hissing noise and she just woke me up and her stomach does fill bloated and she said it was hissing again. She said that her bowels have been normal but she has not had a normal appetite. I took her to the dr on weds and they said her urine was normal and she had a X-ray yesterday. It's keeping her up at night. Very concerned

Hello!

Thank you for the query.

Such symptom does not have to indicate any disease. Diet and intestinal infection are the most common factors of abdominal symptoms. Bacteria infection can seriously disturb bowels movements.
I suggest you to start with diet improvement and probiotic intake. Please increase fiber rich products and mineral water intake. Avoid fatty foods, spicy foods. If there wont be no improvement, stool tests should be next. Consider Rifaximine treatment with your doctor.

Hope this will help.
Regards.
