Stomach Pain, Muscular Skeletal Pain In Back And Neck. Taking Nova Bromazepam For Anxiety Problems. Side Effects?
I have been taking novo-bromazepam 3mg for a few months...maybe once every week or two for anxiety. I am now taking it every other day for anxiety and find that it helps my current symptoms of stomach pain and muscular skeletal pain in my back and neck.. Can I expect withdrawal symptoms from this amount of use? My stomach pain is getting worse in between doses. Can this be a rebound side effect of the medication.
All Benzodiazepines including Bromazepam can cause rebound symptoms, Dependence and withdrawal symptoms Bromazepam is known to cause withdrawal symptoms. Withdrawal symptoms are same as indication for use like anxiety, depression, restlessness. Some time it may cause seizure.
Withdrawal symptoms start to occur after 4 weeks of chronic use of Bromazepam.
To avoid withdrawal symptoms , you need tapering of dose of bromazepam slowly. Tapering is always depends on the individual's body, the drug they are taking, the dose and how long they have been taking it. It varies widely. Tapering can be a difficult task, but if you allow your body to adjust slowly it can be done with the help of physician.
Hope this helps. Take care.
