General & Family Physician, Dr. Jay Patel's Response
Hi,
Based on the information provided it seems " like a benign insulinoma" which is a cancer of - Beta cells that produces the insulin, and the surgical removal of those cell mass will be a cure of your problem.
Its not a malignant pancreatic cancer you have been reading about, just a simple tumor that can be removed and 100% cure is obtained.
Now for the insurance issues, some hospital will allow a cheap surgical options, NEEDY MEDS website will help you to locate such cheap location.
Hope it helps.
