Stood Up To Allow Blood Flow To Legs And List Balance Falling Backwards. Soreness In Ankle Due To Crack And Swollen. Is This Chipped Bone Or Cracked?
Hiya,
I had a dead leg on Wednesday morning .. I stood up to let the blood flow .. When I stood up I lost balance and started falling backwards but I pulled myself forward .. And the tip of my Ugg boot got caught on the grow and my foot bent in under me and my entire ankle let out a really loud crack .. I didn't fall down on it as I was able to stop myself by falling against the door .. My ankle has been very sore and I have been limping .. I can't bend my foot or my toes .. The whole way around my ankle is swollen .. Is it just badly sprained or have I chipped or cracked the bone ??
Hi, From history it seems that you might be having heavy sprain at ankle but at the same time there might be having fracture of lower end of fibula, which is a thin long bone and can be fractured with weight of body if force on it. There might be having some problem at ankle joint as well. Go for x-ray ankle joint. After report go for treatment accordingly. Give complete rest to local part. Ok and take care.
