Stool Test Report: Colour-yellow,PH-6.0,consistency-semi Loose,Mucus-present & Pus Cells-25-30hpf

my 5 month old daughter is suffering from loose motion since last 20 days.. on advice of doctor we carried out stool test . The results are as follow colour -yellow,pH 6.0, consistency - semi-loose,,mucus present,pus cell 25-30 hpf and large number of spores seen(fungal)......Medicine given in the initial phase were nor-metrogyl and mikacin injection. Pl advice wat does the report indicate and how to improve the condition of my baby

Hi...as per the stool report it is some infection fungal hypae are suggestive of fungal infection causing chronic diarrhea. Along with this report if stool culture would have been done, it would have been better. The child has already received antibiotics and there is no response. In such cases we generally start antibiotics or antifungals after doing culture so that we know about the nature of ongoing infection. Also more fluid intake and oral intake is advised so that there is no dehydration.
