Sudden Crossing Of Eyes While Reading With Awful Headaches

I was reading, all of a sudden my eyes crossed for about 2 seconds. Then about a minute and a half they ( mostly my left eye) crossed again for about 5 seconds, now I have an awful headache. I'm 51, female, overweight and high blood pressure. This has never happened before. But I do get headaches with bright lites in my vision. Thank you so much, Deborah Davis.

Hello
It seems from the history that you had sudden crossing of eyes associated with headache lasting for few minutes. Since you are known hypertensive nerve palsies supplying the muscles of the eyes has to be ruled out.
Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination and treatment accordingly.
