Sudden Onset Of Dark Brown, Bruisy, Irregular Spots On Hands And Inside Of Arms. What Could These Be?

My boyfriend is worried about these dark brown, bruisy looking, irregular spots that suddenly appeared on his hands and upper inside of his arms over the past few days. Any idea what these could be? He is making an appointment with a dermatologist , but I d like to be able to tell him it s not cancer so he stops worrying.

Hello,
Thanks for the query.

He might be having a low platelet count and hence he is developing these bruises.

Get his platelet levels checked.

Usually it takes around 2 weeks for the bruise to heal,

He can use oint thrombophobe to get a faster relief.

A photograph would have helped me better.

Please meet a dermatologist for exact diagnosis.
