Sudden Swelling In The Jaw Curves At The Bottom Of The Ear. No Pain. What Could It Be?

this morning when I got up I was fine. we went out to eat and when we got home I couldn't stay away so I lay down I woke up 1 and a half hours later. my right gland was swollen the size of a golf ball right where the jaw curves and the bottom of the ear is. This has never happened before. No real pain just dis comfort. my age is 68
