With the available described symptoms, there appears to be high possibility of fecolith
impaction in large intestine, not moving with suppositories and enema.
Fecolith impaction may cause bleeding by inducing ulcer at affected site.
You should consult with internal medicine specialist/
general surgeon and should go for thorough check up.
He should also go for
complete blood count, blood sugar, serum electrolytes, and thyroid profile.
He should take plenty of water, high fibre diet and laxatives containing lactitol and isapgula & movicol.
He should perform increased physical activity to maintain gastrointestinal mobility.
He should also take
proton pump inhibitors along with prokinetics.
Combination of
liquid paraffin and glycerol is most effective in fecolith impacted cases.
