Suffer From Yeast Infection. No Relief After Taking Flucanozole. Severe Itching And Burning In The Vagina. Need A Remedy?
Hi I'm 31 years old and been suffering a yeast infection for about 5 days now. On the second day I took a 'flucanozole' tablet which I recollect from my past prescription from a doctor. I have taken one tablet a day for two days. Though the yeast infection seems to have reduced, I still have a severe itching sensation, and burning sensation in the vagina along with a mild brown discharge. Please explain the condition & remedy. Thanks
Hi, Thanks for writing to us. You should take fluconazole once in a week and take candid cream for local application. Take plenty of water, maintain proper hygiene, use cotton undergarment. You should consult a gynaecologist for vaginal swab culture and sensitivity. Good luck. Take care.
