Suffering From HSV2 And Now Have An Irritating Outbreak. Should I Be Concerned?
Hello, let me start off by saying that I do have hsv2 (genital) and I'm having an outbreak that seems a little more irritable then normal, so I decided to check it out. Well upon looking I noticed a very light dark spot that almost seemed like an ink splatter that went through the washer and it's just the remains. It's on what I believe is the posterior fourchet. It doesn't hurt at all, and I was just at my gyno about 2 weeks ago. I feel as though if it was serious she would have said something.. Is it possible to just get discoloration from time to time? Should I go back and ask her about it in case she somehow missed it? Any ideas? Thank you!!
The lesion in the form of discoloration on posterior fourchette is not the lesion of herpes progenitalis. It may be pigmented nevus. So, you do not worry. However, you should continue to take treatment for herpes as you may be taking under supervision of your gynaecologist. I hope you got my answer. Thanks.
