Suffering From Alopecia Areta, Hair Loss. Is Psorid Capsule The Right Medication?

Hi, I am currently suffering from severe hair loss which was diagnosed as alopecia areata. I have patches of hair fallen. I have very scanty hair and now its gotten worse. I was prescribed Psorid 50 capsule for a month but haven't seen any improvement in hair growth or prevention of hair fall too. Is it the right medication i am taking? Should i continue the medication?

Hi and thanks for the query,
This is a chronic condition and the results unfortunately do take some time before being actually felt. I do suggest your dermatologist took a lot of parameters into consideration before prescription. The key to treatment t most chronic rheumatologic conditions is compliance to treatment and patience. You might take to drug for about three to four months before obtaining palpable results. be calm and continue with the drug. Kind regards
