Hi,
Thanks for writing in.

Bladder lesion term applies to any structural abnormality concerning the urinary bladder. It can relate to lumen of bladder, the mucosa and submucosa or the entire thickness of bladder wall.

Lesions can be focal, at a small area or diffuse, involving a larger area.

The bladder lesions can be classified as:
Congenital, found since or from birth.
Acquired, development later in life.

Congenital ones can be megaureter, ureterocele or diverticulum.
Acquired can be infection, neoplasm (benign or malignant), neuropathic bladder and post surgical.

Curability depends on the type of problem.

Except malignancy, most of the others are well managed.

Hope this helps.
