Hi there ~

It is not appropriate to ignore a head injury for a concussion until proven so. It is recommended that he get an imaging study (CT scan of his Head) done as soon as possible to rule out any underlying condition. Please visit the nearest Emergency room as soon as possible.

I hope this helps clear any doubts and you can also get medications for the headache. Take care and have a nice day !
