Suffering From Cornea Scratch. Is It Safe To Use Ointment Bought Years Back With No Expiry?
I think I have a slight cornea scratch. Several years ago I had a pretty bad one and still have the Tobradex suspension (expired 2002) and a Bausch and Lomb bacitracin zinc and polymyxin b sulfate ophthalmic usb ointment (apparently without exp, but purchased at the same time). Can I use these and at what rate? Again it's not very bad, just enough to be annoying but I thought these might help.

hi, corneal injury should not be taken lightly. otherwise your cornea will get scarred and leads to permanent blindness. see your ophthalmologist immediately. dont self medicate on your eyes. all the very best.
